Postcard of an oil painting "Lowering the Body into the Grave" at the Jewish Museum in Prague, Czech Republic. Color print of oil painting on canvas in upper two thirds of postcard. The lower third of the postcard is white with black script: museum logo at right, title and date of the painting (circa 1772). in English and Czech at left. Verso: no manuscript, no postmark, no stamp, publication and copyright statement printed on bottom left in Czech. One in a series of 21 postcards included in a packet from the State Jewish Museum in Prague titled "The Cycle of Paintings of the Prague Burial Society". This is the twelfth painting in the cycle. |
