Handwritten note "Deeds Wanted" from Treasurer George Bond to Secretary Benjamin R. Curtis written in April, 1835.* The note is handwritten in black ink on one side of a single page. It contains a list of deeds required for Lots #243, #572, #573, and #574, with lot dimension information and a note about Lot #94 for which a deed was not yet required. The verso contains the title at center, George Bond's signature, and Benjamin R. Curtis's name vertically as addressee. *The document is undated and came from a larger batch that presumably has (or had) a date on a container or folder as noted by a previous cataloger. |
